0:01Setting aside time to meditate and pray is an act of love.

0:08It's saying to God, "I value this relationship, and I want to invest in it." When you're meditating, you're connecting with God, and that relationship will grow and bear fruit.

0:33Let's go ahead and get started by gently bringing your attention to the breath.

0:42Notice the rise and the fall of the chest.

0:50And when you're ready, let your eyes close like the sun sets.

1:02Take a moment to consider this verse: He makes us young again, like an eagle that grows new feathers.

1:21And again, He makes us young again, like an eagle that grows new feathers.

1:41Now, consciously begin to relax your muscles.

1:54Feel the weight of gravity on your body as the chair holds you up.

2:13Begin to notice how the body feels.

2:29Just scanning the body from the head down to the toes.

2:42Consciously relaxing any areas of tightness or tension.

2:56Take a few big, deep breaths in.

3:06Notice how the breath changes the body.

3:17Just relaxing and releasing, allowing your body to totally let go.

3:35If the thoughts take you away, that's okay.

3:41Thoughts are a normal part of meditation.

3:46You aren't holding onto the thoughts or the feelings, you're just allowing them to bubble up and out.

4:01You're releasing those thoughts to God.

4:16Now, for a moment or two, allow your awareness to rest deeper into God's love.

4:42Bring your attention to the feeling of the breath.

4:57Let it settle into a natural rhythm, effortless and easy.

5:18Notice how good it feels just to breathe.

5:34With each inhale, let your body fill up with new life.

5:44With each exhale, release and let your body relax.

6:11Now, gently bring your attention to your emotions.

6:26Just noticing the feelings that you brought with you today.

6:45Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them as an observer.

7:09Remember that you can leave those feelings right where they are.

7:22Just allow those thoughts to bubble up and out.

7:46Remember, today is a new day with new opportunities.

7:55God is working in your life.

8:11Take this verse with you, "He makes us young again, like an eagle that grows new feathers." When it feels natural, bring your awareness back to the room.

8:42Just noticing the room with a gentle appreciation.

8:49And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly open.

8:55Take a moment to notice how you feel.

8:59I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:02We'll see you again tomorrow for another day of hope.
