0:00When we rely on ourselves, our hope is limited and short-lived.

0:07When we rely on God, our hope is unlimited, and our strength is renewed.

0:15That's because love brings new life to our soul.

0:21It makes our heart new again.

0:25So today, rest and trust in the love that extends over time, the love that God the Father has for you.

0:38Let's start by taking a few nice deep breaths.

0:47As your breath begins to relax your body, allow your eyes to close like the sun sets.

1:00Take a moment to consider this verse, "I've never quit loving you and never will." And again, "I've never quit loving you and never will." When it feels comfortable, take

1:45a few nice deep breaths in, really making a point to expand the body and expand the chest.

2:08Notice how the breath makes you feel.

2:22Now let the breath begin to settle.

2:32As your breath begins to settle, allow the body to become heavy.

2:46Notice any sensations in the body.

2:52See if you're holding on to any tension.

3:00Maybe the body is tight or maybe it's not.

3:06Either is okay.

3:16You're just scanning the body looking for any areas of tightness and letting them release.

3:32And if the mind drifts away in thought, slowly bring it back to the feelings in the body and the breath.

3:52Your body knows how to relax.

4:04You don't have to think about it for it to happen.

4:08You are simply uncovering the calm that was always present.

4:23Let your awareness rest in the arms of God.

4:42Now, bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.

4:57Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them with an easy curiosity.

5:23Now take a few deep breaths and allow the body to relax a little more with each exhale.

5:50With each passing thought, allow your awareness to rest deeper into God's love.

6:12Now, begin to deepen the breath.

6:32Inhale slowly and lengthen the breath, and then exhale, letting go of the breath.

6:50And then right back into the next inhale.

6:58Slow it down and make it deep.

7:08And then exhale.

7:11Let the body relax.

7:26Now, allow your breath to settle and let your mind settle with it.

7:49Give yourself space just to be who you are, a child of God.

8:10Take this verse with you.

8:14I've never quit loving you and never will.

8:31When it feels easy, bring your attention back to the feeling of the breath.

8:41Take a few more deep breaths and slowly allow your eyes to open.

8:49Notice how the breath changes the way you feel.

8:54I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

8:58We'll see you again tomorrow.

9:01Take care of yourself.
