0:00The best things in life aren't things, they're people.

0:07Things can bring joy for a moment, but an important relationship can change your life.

0:17As you go about your day today, remember the people in your life that you love.

0:26Be mindful of just how blessed you are.

0:37Okay, let's go ahead and get started by taking a moment to notice your breath.

0:49Just the rise and the fall of the chest.

0:57And when you're ready, let your eyes close like the sun sets.

1:09Now, take a moment to consider this verse: "I couldn't stop thanking God for you.

1:18Every time I prayed, I'd think of you and give thanks." And again, "I couldn't stop thanking God for you.

1:38Every time I prayed, I'd think of you and give thanks." Now, bring your attention to your breath.

2:01Just a soft, easy awareness.

2:13Notice what it feels like as air passes in through the nose and then back out through the mouth.

2:31Let the breath bring life to your body.

2:49Begin to listen to the sound of your breath.

2:57Listening to the inhale and the exhale.

3:15On the next exhale, allow the breath to relax and become natural.

3:35Allow your breath to bring renewal to your body.

3:43You're making space to notice God's presence in your life.

3:59When it feels comfortable, bring your attention to the heartbeat.

4:20Allow that rhythm and stillness to enter every part of your body.

4:46Feel the presence of God in this space.

5:03Gently bring your awareness to any sensations you're feeling.

5:22Just noticing the sensations on the body.

5:40Maybe it's the air on the skin or the weight of the body in the chair.

5:59Just noticing and welcoming these sensations as part of the meditation.

6:19Notice the rise and the fall of the chest as you breathe.

6:30Follow the breath and notice how it changes your body.

6:47The inhales, expanding the body and filling it up with life.

6:56And the exhales, relaxing the body, letting go.

7:15You don't have to do anything.

7:20It's natural and effortless.

7:24Your body knows how to relax.

7:34You are simply unearthing the calm that was already there.

7:49This is a safe place of love and deep rest.

8:06Allow your mind to take refuge in God.

8:25Take this verse with you: "I couldn't stop thanking God for you.

8:34Every time I prayed, I'd think of you and give thanks." Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of the body.

8:57Notice the weight of the body on the chair, and when you feel ready, allow your eyes to open and take a nice deep breath.

9:11Notice how your breath changes the way you feel.

9:16I hope you feel a little more in touch with God.

9:22We'll see you again next time, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
