0:00It's natural to feel like you're doing life alone.
0:06It may even feel like God isn't with you.
0:10Often, people feel this way because they're running through life.
0:16When we're moving fast, it's hard to connect with God or with others.
0:24Slow down, rest, renew your spirit.
0:33When you do this, it becomes easier to feel God's presence in your life.
0:43Okay, let's begin by getting comfortable and taking a few deep breaths.
0:55As you begin to feel your body releasing, allow your eyes to slowly close.
1:07Now, take a moment to consider this verse: God's spirit now lives in you, and He will raise you to life by His spirit.
1:30And again, God's spirit now lives in you, and He will raise you to life by His spirit.
1:51Now, bring your awareness to the feelings you brought with you today.
2:06Just taking note of your emotions and accepting them as they are.
2:24Begin to take a few nice, big breaths.
2:38With each exhale, you're relaxing and letting those feelings go.
2:54Stressful situations are a part of life, but you are stronger than those feelings.
3:20Just relaxing and appreciating the breath.
3:32On your next inhale, begin to count the breath.
3:39One on the inhale, and two on the exhale, three on the next inhale, and four on the exhale, counting up to 10, and then starting over again.
4:20Allow your breath to bring life into your body.
4:34Let your breath remind you of God's calming presence in your life.
4:55Now, slowly begin to take some deep breaths, allowing the body to open.
5:12Let the breath relax any areas of tightness in the body.
5:28Consciously, start to turn the muscles off.
5:37Start with the muscles in the feet and the legs.
5:44Allow the feet to be heavy on the floor.
5:52Allow the chest and the back to open so the breathing can become deep and natural.
6:14Soften the shoulders.
6:17Allow them to fall away from the ears.
6:31Let the head fall and become heavy at the neck.
6:43Feel the weight of the body, and how it pushes you down into the chair.
7:01When it feels comfortable, bring your awareness to the sound of your breath.
7:12Not changing anything about the breath, just noticing it.
7:29Listening to the gentle rhythm of the inhales and exhales.
7:47Filling the body up with fresh air, and then slowly exhaling and letting go.
8:04Let your mind be still.
8:20Take this verse with you.
8:25"God's Spirit now lives in you, and he will raise you to life by his Spirit." Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of your breath.
8:51Listen to the sound of your breathing, and when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take another deep breath in.
9:05Give yourself a stretch and sit back and relax.
9:10Remember to take a moment to check in, and notice how you feel.
9:18I hope you feel better.
9:20Take care, and we'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
