0:01If you're looking for the one thing that will transform your life for the better, the closest thing you'll find is gratitude.

0:12Being thankful for the positive things in your life is guaranteed to change your outlook.

0:21It's important to remember that gratitude isn't positive thinking.

0:26It's acknowledging blessings that already exist.

0:32Learn to orient your life to focus on what you have, rather than what you don't.

0:40By doing this, you will move closer to peace.

0:49When you feel ready, go ahead and get comfortable in your position, really allowing the body to relax.

1:04And when you're ready, let your eyes slowly close.

1:13Take a moment to consider this verse: Don't worry about anything.

1:23Instead, pray about everything.

1:26Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done.

1:40And again, don't worry about anything.

1:45Instead, pray about everything.

1:49Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done.

2:07Now bring your attention to the position of the body.

2:15Make sure you can breathe in an open and natural way.

2:29Allow the chest to open and take a few nice, deep breaths.

2:41Let the breath fill the body up with life.

2:55With each breath, you're bringing your awareness into this moment.

3:09Relax and allow God to speak to you in the way that He wants.

3:25Let your thoughts go and allow your awareness to rest in this moment.

3:45If your thoughts wander off, that's okay.

3:51It's natural for the thoughts to drift.

4:05As best you can, leave those thoughts right where they are and come back to that feeling of your body.

4:24Our feelings and emotions can distract us from the natural calm of God's love.

4:37There isn't anything to discover.

4:41It's always been there.

4:50This is a safe place.

4:54God loves you.

5:09Gradually, and with ease, bring your awareness to rest on your breath.

5:25Feel the body rise with each inhale, and then allow your awareness to rest in a little more with each exhale.

5:57Notice how with each breath, the body feels a little calmer.

6:15Begin to notice the space around the body.

6:30Feel the contact of the body on the chair, and your feet on the floor.

6:46When you feel comfortable, begin to scan the entire body to build up a picture of what the body feels like.

7:00Piece by piece, release any areas of tension.

7:14Let go of your stress.

7:17Let go of your anxiety.

7:23You are exactly where you're meant to be.

7:36Allow that natural rhythm of the breath to relax you.

7:57Let your breath guide you to a place of safety in the presence of God.

8:17You are accepted here.

8:21You are loved.

8:37Take this verse with you: Don't worry about anything.

8:44Instead, pray about everything.

8:48Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

9:05Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of the body.

9:12Notice the weight of the body on the chair, and when you feel ready, allow your eyes to open, and take a nice deep breath.

9:26Notice how your breath changes the way you feel.

9:31I hope you feel a little more in touch with God.

9:37We'll see you again next time, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
