0:01We make so many decisions in a day.
0:05It's easy to get hung up on some of them.
0:11Remember that we learn by making decisions.
0:19Today, as you meditate, I encourage you to let go of any judgment on your decisions.
0:28Just rest with them.
0:33Patience brings a wider perspective.
0:42Let's begin by loosening the shoulders and the chest, and when you feel ready, just allow the eyes to slowly close.
1:01Take a moment to consider this verse, "Be strong and brave and wait for the Lord's help." Again, "Be strong and brave and wait for the Lord's help." With ease,
1:44bring your attention to the breath.
1:53Take a few nice, deep breaths.
2:01Make them feel easy and effortless.
2:19Feel life enter your body as you breathe in, and then release your tension as you breathe out.
2:45Inhale.
2:48Feel how the body expands.
2:52Then, slowly exhale, feeling the body fall.
3:11Feel the air as it travels in through the nose, and follow the air back out through the mouth.
3:28Allow each breath to soften the chest and relax the shoulders.
3:38Begin to scan the body from the head to the toe, relaxing the body piece by piece.
3:55There's no way to do this wrong.
4:07And now, for a few moments, allow your mind to do what it wants to do.
4:18If it wants to think, then let it think.
4:25And if it wants to rest, then let it rest.
4:45Bring your attention to any tightness in the body, just noticing how the body feels.
5:20Start by relaxing the hands, letting go of any tension in the hands.
5:44Allow the arms to totally relax, letting go at the elbows and the wrists.
6:04Let the shoulders fall away from the ears.
6:23Let the legs become heavy.
6:36Allow the muscles to completely let go.
6:52Let your body totally relax and release.
7:11And now, if it feels comfortable, take a big deep breath, letting the air fill up the body.
7:29Notice how the breath changes the way the body feels.
7:45And now, for a moment or two, let go of any focus, and just allow yourself to be.
8:11Take this verse with you, "Be strong and brave and wait for the Lord's help." Slowly bring your awareness back to the body, and when you feel ready, allow your
8:47eyes to open.
8:51Take a moment to notice how your body feels.
8:57I hope you feel a little better.
9:01We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
9:08Remember, be easy with yourself.
