0:00Things are always changing, your job, your relationships, your body.

0:10But the one thing you can count on being consistent is God.

0:16He's the same today as He's always been, and will always be.

0:23His presence and love are consistent and unchanging.

0:29As you rest into this meditation today, know that God is with you and He will always be by your side through all of the changes that life brings.

0:45Okay.

0:46Let's go ahead and get started by getting comfortable in your chair.

0:53And when you're ready, take a few nice, deep breaths and allow your eyes to slowly close.

1:09Now, take a moment to consider this verse.

1:16God doesn't come and go.

1:19God lasts.

1:29And again, God doesn't come and go.

1:35God lasts.

1:52When it feels natural, let's take a nice big breath.

2:04With each breath, allow the body to become softer and more relaxed.

2:16Almost like a wave of relaxation washing over the body.

2:29The breath fills up the body and then it gives way to that natural relaxation that's right under the surface.

2:51Now, let's turn our awareness to how the body feels.

3:02Just examining the body with an easy curiosity.

3:14Allow your shoulders to relax and fall away from the ears.

3:23Relax your arms and allow your hands to open and let go.

3:34Allow your temples and face to relax.

3:44Let the throat and the neck soften.

3:52Allow your breath to deepen as your awareness rests deeper.

4:02Just relaxing and releasing.

4:13You are here and everything is okay.

4:19God is with you.

4:33And now, for a moment or two, let go of any focus and allow yourself to simply be.

4:57Gently bring your awareness to any sensations you're feeling.

5:09Just noticing the sensations on the body.

5:25Maybe it's the air on the skin or the weight of the body in the chair.

5:39Just noticing and welcoming these sensations as part of the meditation.

5:54Notice the rise and the fall of the chest as you breathe.

6:14Follow the breath and notice how it changes your body, the inhales expanding the body and filling it up with life, and the exhales relaxing the body, letting go.

6:50Follow the breath as it comes in through the nose and then goes back out through the mouth.

7:13You don't have to do anything.

7:17It's natural and effortless.

7:21Your body knows how to relax.

7:27You are simply unearthing the calm that was already there.

7:40This is a safe place of love and deep rest.

8:04Allow your mind to take refuge in God.

8:22Take this verse with you.

8:28God doesn't come and go.

8:31God lasts.

8:48Gently bring your awareness back to the body, and when you feel ready, slowly open your eyes and take a nice deep breath.

9:04Sit back and relax for a moment.

9:08How do you feel?

9:12I hope you feel a little better.

9:15We'll see you next time with hope, mindfulness and prayer.
