0:00Part of letting go is accepting that suffering and loss are part of life.

0:07But just like Jesus on the cross, acceptance of suffering will lead to rebirth and resurrection.

0:18Holding onto pain will keep you in a state of friction, but letting go and accepting it as reality transforms loss into renewal.

0:34Okay.

0:36Let's begin by getting comfortable and taking a few nice, deep breaths.

0:46As you begin to feel your body releasing, allow your eyes to slowly close.

0:58Take a moment to consider this verse: Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.

1:18And again, weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.

1:42With ease, bring your attention to the breath.

1:54Take a few nice, deep breaths.

2:02Make them feel easy and effortless.

2:20Feel life enter your body as you breathe in, and then release your tension as you breathe out.

2:46Inhale.

2:48Feel how the body expands.

2:53Then, slowly exhale, feeling the body fall.

3:12Feel the air as it travels in through the nose, and follow the air back out through the mouth.

3:29Allow each breath to soften the chest and relax the shoulders.

3:39Begin to scan the body from the head to the toe, relaxing the body piece by piece.

3:56There's no way to do this wrong.

4:07And now, for a few moments, allow your mind to do what it wants to do.

4:19If it wants to think, then let it think.

4:25And if it wants to rest, then let it rest.

4:44Bring your attention to any tightness in the body, just noticing how the body feels.

5:14Start by relaxing the hands, letting go of any tension in the hands.

5:36Allow the arms to totally relax, letting go at the elbows and the wrists.

5:59Let the shoulders fall away from the ears.

6:15Let the legs become heavy.

6:27Allow the muscles to completely let go.

6:47Let your body totally relax and release.

7:06And now, if it feels comfortable, take a big deep breath, letting the air fill up the body.

7:26Notice how the breath changes the way the body feels.

7:47And now, for a moment or two, let go of any focus, and just allow yourself to be.

8:12Take this verse with you, "Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning." Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of your breath.

8:46Listen to the sound of your breathing.

8:50And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take another deep breath in.

9:00Give yourself a stretch and sit back and relax.

9:05Remember to take a moment to check in and notice how you feel.

9:12I hope you feel better.

9:15Take care.

9:17And we'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
