0:00Self-esteem can be hard to cultivate.

0:04It can feel like you're trying to convince yourself of your own worth.

0:10But the truth is, God made you to be who you are.

0:17He loves you, and He always has.

0:20As you meditate today, rest with the one who loves you.

0:26Remember that as you learn to love yourself as God does.

0:34Okay.

0:35Let's begin by consciously relaxing the body.

0:42And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close.

0:52As your body begins to settle, take a moment to consider this verse, "For the Father Himself loves you dearly because you love me, and believe that I came from

1:10God." And again, "For the Father Himself loves you dearly because you love me, and believe that I came from God." In your own time, take a few nice, deep

1:50breaths.

1:54In through the nose and out through the mouth.

2:05Allow the body to let go a little bit more with each exhale.

2:19Feel the face and the neck softening as your body begins to relax.

2:34Notice how your breath softens and relaxes the body.

2:49Come to that sense of weight in the body, allowing the chair to hold the body up.

3:07Relax the arms all the way down to the hands.

3:15Allow the legs to become heavy, relaxing all the way down to the toes.

3:31Feel the muscles softening.

3:43Allow the natural rhythm of the breath to relax the body.

3:55Notice the rise and the fall of the chest.

4:08Just noticing how good it feels just to breathe.

4:26And now, for a moment or two, let your awareness be free.

4:35Let it rest.

4:49Bring your attention to the feeling of the breath.

5:05Let it settle into a natural rhythm, effortless and easy.

5:31Notice how good it feels just to breathe.

5:47With each inhale, let your body fill up with new life.

5:58With each exhale, release and let your body relax.

6:18Feel your feet on the floor and the weight of your body in the chair.

6:36Now, gently bring your attention to your emotions.

6:46Just noticing the feelings that you brought with you today.

7:00Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them as an observer.

7:18Remember that you can leave those feelings right where they are.

7:29Just allow those thoughts to bubble up and out.

7:49Remember, today is a new day with new opportunities.

7:58God is working in your life.

8:15Take this verse with you.

8:19"For the Father Himself loves you dearly because you love me and believe that I came from God." When you feel ready, slowly bring your awareness back to the breath

8:51and allow your eyes to open.

8:54Take a few deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

9:05Notice how you feel.

9:10I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:14We'll see you again tomorrow with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
