0:00When your spirit is filled with the presence of Jesus, it protects you against all the things that can harm you.

0:09You lose the desire to criticize yourself or to criticize others.

0:16You lose anger and resentment.

0:19You can find meaning and fulfillment in circumstances that are less than ideal.

0:27So today, may God's love fill you and protect you.

0:35Okay.

0:36Let's go ahead and get started by getting comfortable in your chair.

0:43And when you're ready, take a few nice, deep breaths and allow your eyes to slowly close.

1:00Now, take a moment to consider this verse: Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it keeps no record of wrongs.

1:26And again: Love is patient, love is kind, does not envy, it does not boast, it keeps no record of wrongs.

1:56Now, bring your attention to the position of the body.

2:04Make sure you can breathe in an open and natural way.

2:17Allow the chest to open and take a few nice, deep breaths.

2:29Let the breath fill the body up with life.

2:43With each breath, you're bringing your awareness into this moment.

2:57Relax and allow God to speak to you in the way that He wants.

3:13Let your thoughts go and allow your awareness to rest in this moment.

3:33If your thoughts wander off, that's okay.

3:40It's natural for the thoughts to drift.

3:53As best you can, leave those thoughts right where they are and come back to that feeling of your body.

4:13Our feelings and emotions can distract us from the natural calm of God's love.

4:25There isn't anything to discover.

4:30It's always been there.

4:37This is a safe place.

4:42God loves you.

4:59Gradually, and with ease, bring your awareness to rest on your breath.

5:16Feel the body rise with each inhale.

5:33Notice how with each breath, the body feels a little calmer.

5:58Begin to notice the space around the body.

6:14Feel the contact of the body on the chair, and your feet on the floor.

6:35When you feel comfortable, begin to scan the entire body to build up a picture of what the body feels like.

6:52Piece by piece, release any areas of tension.

7:03Let go of your stress.

7:06Let go of your anxiety.

7:16You are exactly where you're meant to be.

7:29Allow that natural rhythm of the breath to relax you.

7:46Let your breath guide you to a place of safety in the presence of God.

8:05You are accepted here.

8:09You are loved.

8:25Take this verse with you.

8:30"Love is patient.

8:32Love is kind.

8:34Does not envy.

8:37It does not boast.

8:39It keeps no record of wrongs." Gently bring your awareness back to the body, and when you feel ready, slowly open your eyes and take a nice deep breath.

9:10Sit back and relax for a moment.

9:14How do you feel?

9:18I hope you feel a little better.

9:21We'll see you next time, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
