0:00The act of wanting more or striving for better isn't a bad thing.

0:08But sometimes when we get what we want, it turns out to be nothing like we expected.

0:17Allow yourself to enjoy your life as it is, because happiness is never found anywhere but the present moment.

0:30Let's start by taking a few nice, deep breaths.

0:40As your breath begins to relax your body, allow your eyes to close, like the sun sets.

0:53Now take a moment to consider this verse: This is my command: Be strong and courageous.

1:07Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

1:25And again, this is my command: Be strong and courageous.

1:34Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

2:00When it feels comfortable, take a few nice, deep breaths in, really making a point to expand the body and expand the chest.

2:28Notice how the breath makes you feel.

2:42Now let the breath begin to settle.

2:52As your breath begins to settle, allow the body to become heavy.

3:06Notice any sensations in the body.

3:11See if you're holding onto any tension.

3:20Maybe the body is tight or maybe it's not.

3:26Either is okay.

3:36You're just scanning the body, looking for any areas of tightness and letting them release.

3:52And if the mind drifts away in thought, slowly bring it back to the feelings in the body and the breath.

4:12Your body knows how to relax.

4:23You don't have to think about it for it to happen.

4:28You are simply uncovering the calm that was always present.

4:43Let your awareness rest in the arms of God.

5:02Now bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.

5:17Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them with an easy curiosity.

5:43Now take a few deep breaths and allow the body to relax a little more with each exhale.

6:09With each passing thought, allow your awareness to rest deeper into God's love.

6:32Now, begin to deepen the breath.

6:52Inhale slowly and lengthen the breath, and then exhale, letting go of the breath.

7:10And then right back into the next inhale.

7:18Slow it down and make it deep.

7:28And then exhale.

7:30Let the body relax.

7:46Now, allow your breath to settle and let your mind settle with it.

8:08Give yourself space just to be who you are, a child of God.

8:30Take this verse with you: This is my command, be strong and courageous.

8:42Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

9:08When it feels easy, bring your attention back to the feeling of the breath.

9:17Take a few more deep breaths and slowly allow your eyes to open.

9:26Notice how the breath changes the way you feel.

9:31I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:35We'll see you again tomorrow.

9:38Take care of yourself.
