0:00When we don't know which way to turn, we need directions.
0:05We need a guide we can hold onto, someone who can lead us and protect us.
0:14God is that guide.
0:17Right now, in this moment, ask Him to guide your footsteps and your actions.
0:25He will protect you.
0:29Okay.
0:30Let's begin by getting comfortable and taking a few nice, deep breaths.
0:41As you begin to feel your body releasing, allow your eyes to slowly close.
0:53Take a moment to consider this verse: "All at once, you turned on a floodlight for me.
1:04You are the revelation light in my darkness.
1:09And in your brightness, I can see the path ahead." And again," All at once, you turned on a floodlight for me.
1:27You are the revelation light in my darkness.
1:32And in your brightness, I can see the path ahead." Now, bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.
2:04Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them with an easy curiosity.
2:28Now, take a few deep breaths and allow the body to relax a little more with each exhale.
2:49With each passing thought, allow your awareness to rest deeper into God's love.
3:09Now, begin to deepen the breath.
3:20Inhale slowly and lengthen the breath, and then exhale, letting go of the breath.
3:38And then right back into the next inhale.
3:46Slow it down, and make it deep.
3:56And then exhale.
3:58Let the body relax.
4:16Now, allow your breath to settle, and let your mind settle with it.
4:34Give yourself space just to be who you are, a child of God.
4:58Now, take a moment to be grateful for this opportunity to relax.
5:15Notice how good it feels just to be here in this moment.
5:30Let go of your worries, and focus your attention on the breath.
5:53Nothing else matters right now.
5:59You are here.
6:02There's nothing to do but relax.
6:21Allow your body to honor the natural calm given by God's presence.
6:37Just listening to the breath.
6:41Noticing the rise and the fall of the chest.
6:54Deep breath in, expanding the body, and then exhale, letting your awareness rest.
7:17Take another deep breath as you feel your lungs expand.
7:26And exhale, following the air back out through the mouth.
7:39The thoughts may take you away, and that's okay.
7:59With each breath, effortlessly rest into the arms of God.
8:22Take this verse with you.
8:26"All at once, you turned on a floodlight for me.
8:31You are the revelation light in my darkness, and in your brightness, I can see the path ahead." Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of your breath.
9:00Listen to the sound of your breathing, and when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take another deep breath in.
9:14Give yourself a stretch and sit back and relax.
9:19Remember to take a moment to check in and notice how you feel.
9:27I hope you feel better.
9:29Take care, and we'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
