0:00We all need someone we can count on.

0:05If you're looking for someone who will never fail you, that someone is God.

0:12You can depend on Him because He loves you, and His love for you is eternal.

0:20Think about that today as you begin this meditation.

0:26Okay.

0:27Let's get started by allowing the body to relax.

0:36And when you're ready, let your eyes close like the sun sets.

0:46Now take a moment to consider this verse: "I have loved you with an everlasting love.

0:57I have drawn you with unfailing kindness." And again, "I have loved you with an everlasting love.

1:16I have drawn you with unfailing kindness." Gradually, and with ease, bring your awareness to rest on your breath.

1:48Feel the body rise with each inhale, and then allow your awareness to rest in a little more with each exhale.

2:12Notice how with each breath, the body feels a little calmer.

2:30Begin to notice the space around the body.

2:40Feel the contact of the body on the chair, and your feet on the floor.

2:54When you feel comfortable, begin to scan the entire body to build up a picture of what the body feels like.

3:08Piece by piece, release any areas of tension.

3:19Let go of your stress.

3:21Let go of your anxiety.

3:27You are exactly where you're meant to be.

3:40Allow that natural rhythm of the breath to relax you.

3:58Let your breath guide you to a place of safety in the presence of God.

4:16You are accepted here.

4:20You are loved.

4:35With ease, bring your attention to the breath.

4:48Take a few nice, deep breaths.

4:56Make them feel easy and effortless.

5:14Feel life enter your body as you breathe in, and then release your tension as you breathe out.

5:39Inhale.

5:42Feel how the body expands.

5:46Then slowly exhale, feeling the body fall.

6:07Feel the air as it travels in through the nose, and follow the air back out through the mouth.

6:28Allow each breath to soften the chest and relax the shoulders.

6:46Begin to scan the body from the head to the toe, relaxing the body piece by piece.

7:11There's no way to do this wrong.

7:25And now, for a few moments, allow your mind to do what it wants to do.

7:39If it wants to think, then let it think.

7:45And if it wants to rest, then let it rest.

8:05Take this verse with you, "I have loved you with an everlasting love.

8:14I have drawn you with unfailing kindness." When you feel ready, slowly bring your awareness back to the breath and allow your eyes to open.

8:41Take a few deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

8:51Notice how you feel.

8:56I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:00We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
