0:00Daily life comes with a lot of stress.

0:05It's natural to get caught up in your thoughts as you go through your daily life.

0:13Whether your life is really busy, or not so busy at all, the stress of life can cause worry.

0:25Either way, it's important to remember that these thoughts and feelings are just that, just thoughts and feelings.

0:37You have the power to change these things.

0:42When you live in the present moment with God, worries and anxieties become smaller.

0:53When you feel ready, go ahead and get comfortable in your position, really allowing the body to relax.

1:08And when you're ready, let your eyes slowly close.

1:17Take a moment to consider this verse, "If you make the Most High your dwelling, then no harm will befall you." Again, "If you make the Most High your dwelling,

1:43then no harm will befall you." With a gradual ease, take a nice big breath.

2:11Be intentional with the breath, big deep inhales, and nice long exhales.

2:29Relax and settle into your body.

2:37With each breath, allow the muscles to soften and let go.

2:53Feel that sense of gravity and weight in the body.

3:02You're just uncovering the natural calm that's always accessible through God.

3:20Now, with ease, bring your awareness to the sounds in the room.

3:33Just listening to the sounds with an easy curiosity.

3:42Not placing judgment on the sounds, just noticing the sounds and accepting them as part of this practice.

4:06If the thoughts take you away, it's okay.

4:11When you notice the thoughts, gently bring your awareness back to the sounds.

4:29Just noticing and listening.

4:46Now, for a moment or two, let your awareness go where it wants to go.

5:05When you feel comfortable, bring your attention to the feeling of the body.

5:17Make sure you aren't holding any stress or anxiety in the body.

5:36Consciously begin to scan the body and make sure everything's comfortable and relaxed.

6:05Take a few natural, deep breaths.

6:12Release any emotions or feelings you brought with you to this practice.

6:29Let God handle what you cannot.

6:43Relax the body a little more with each out breath.

6:55Simply let go and rest in the presence of God.

7:11Feel the space around the body.

7:23Appreciate the sounds in the room.

7:37Just listening and experiencing the feeling of breathing.

7:53If you notice any resistance in the body, come back to the breath and allow that tension to release.

8:16You are safe.

8:31Take this verse with you: If you make the most high your dwelling, then no harm will befall you.

8:57Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of the body.

9:03Notice the weight of the body on the chair, and when you feel ready, allow your eyes to open and take a nice deep breath.

9:17Notice how your breath changes the way you feel.

9:22I hope you feel a little more in touch with God.

9:28We'll see you again next time with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
