0:00When you take time to seclude yourself in meditation and prayer, you're opening your heart to God.

0:10Seeking God in solitude allows God to speak to the desires of your heart.

0:18Sometimes, He will grant those desires, but other times, He may be asking you to change what you desire.

0:29But you can trust that by drawing closer to your Creator, you're drawing closer to your purpose.

0:40Okay, let's begin by getting comfortable.

0:47Take a few nice, big, deep breaths.

0:55And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close.

1:05Take a moment to consider this verse: "For the Lord grants wisdom.

1:15From His mouth come knowledge and understanding." And again, "For the Lord grants wisdom.

1:34From His mouth come knowledge and understanding." When it feels comfortable, go ahead and take a few deep breaths in.

2:06Nice and easy.

2:14Let the breaths settle and become natural, and bring your attention to the space in the room.

2:28Not thinking too hard about it, just becoming aware of your body and your surroundings.

2:45Notice the air on the skin.

2:55Feel the chair beneath you.

3:04Pay attention to the position of your body.

3:09Make sure that you're comfortable.

3:22Notice the state of your mind.

3:28Does the mind feel calm?

3:32Does it feel restless?

3:35Both are okay.

3:43Just a simple, easy noticing.

3:56Just noticing the space, almost like you're an observer.

4:11Notice the gentle sound of your breath coming in and going out.

4:23Deepening the inhales and extending the exhales, letting the body rest.

4:45Just relax.

5:02Now, gently bring your awareness to the breath.

5:09Allow your breath to deepen and fill the lungs.

5:25Big, deep breath in, and then taking twice as long on the exhale.

5:43Let the inhale come easily and effortlessly, and then exhale, controlling the breath.

6:09Allow yourself to be here in this moment.

6:16This is all that matters right now.

6:22Whatever you need to let go of, let it go.

6:30Release it to God.

6:41Today is a new day with new opportunities.

6:59Allow your breath to renew your spirit and connect you to your Creator, who loves you.

7:18Deep breath, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

7:34Remember, this is a place of love.

7:41Let this practice be whatever you need it to be.

7:46God's calming presence is always accessible to you.

8:04Let your awareness rest in the loving presence of God.

8:24Take this verse with you.

8:27"For the Lord grants wisdom.

8:32From His mouth come knowledge and understanding." Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the body, maybe even move your fingers and toes a little bit.

9:04When it feels natural, allow your eyes to slowly open.

9:11Take another big, deep breath in, and let it out with a sigh.

9:18Notice how you feel.

9:20I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:23We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
