0:00Sometimes the only thing that really separates a memorable moment from a forgettable moment is awareness.

0:10It's so easy to let the days just slip away from us.

0:15Being mindful in our lives brings gratitude and joy into our day.

0:22Gratitude is a practice that allows us to appreciate what we normally would have missed.

0:29Gratitude praises God by recognizing everything He's given to us.

0:37Allow that message to rest with you as you work your way through this meditation.

0:45Let's go ahead and get started by gently bringing your attention to the breath.

0:54Notice the rise and the fall of the chest.

1:02And when you're ready, let your eyes close like the sun sets.

1:13Take a moment to consider this verse: He fills my life with good things.

1:30And again, He fills my life with good things.

1:50Now, consciously begin to relax your muscles.

2:03Feel the weight of gravity on your body as the chair holds you up.

2:22Begin to notice how the body feels.

2:37Just scanning the body from the head down to the toes.

2:51Consciously relaxing any areas of tightness or tension.

3:05Take a few big, deep breaths in.

3:15Notice how the breath changes the body.

3:26Just relaxing and releasing, allowing your body to totally let go.

3:44If the thoughts take you away, that's okay.

3:50Thoughts are a normal part of meditation.

3:55You aren't holding on to the thoughts or the feelings, you're just allowing them to bubble up and out.

4:09You're releasing those thoughts to God.

4:25Now, for a moment or two, allow your awareness to rest deeper into God's love.

4:51Bring your attention to the feeling of the breath.

5:06Let it settle into a natural rhythm, effortless and easy.

5:27Notice how good it feels just to breathe.

5:42With each inhale, let your body fill up with new life.

5:53With each exhale, release and let your body relax.

6:20Now, gently bring your attention to your emotions.

6:34Just noticing the feelings that you brought with you today.

6:54Not engaging with the emotions; just noticing them as an observer.

7:17Remember that you can leave those feelings right where they are.

7:31Just allow those thoughts to bubble up and out.

7:54Remember, today is a new day with new opportunities.

8:03God is working in your life.

8:20Take this verse with you: He fills my life with good things.

8:39When it feels natural, bring your awareness back to the room.

8:47Just noticing the room with a gentle appreciation.

8:53And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly open.

9:00Take a moment to notice how you feel.

9:03I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:07We'll see you again tomorrow for another day of hope.
