0:00By reconnecting with God on a daily basis, you're allowing him to transform you day by day.

0:10It builds from one day to the next.

0:15There are moments in meditation where you may have a great breakthrough, but it's the day-by-day practice that makes all the difference.

0:28Keep meditating.

0:31Keep dyeing the cloth a deeper color.

0:37Let's begin by allowing the body to become heavy.

0:46And as you begin to relax, allow your eyes to close.

0:56Now, take a moment to consider this verse.

1:02Our physical body is becoming older and weaker, but our spirit inside us is made new every day.

1:20And again, our physical body is becoming older and weaker, but our spirit inside us is made new every day.

1:48Now, bring your awareness to the feeling of the body.

1:59Maybe there's some muscle tightness or stress lingering in the body.

2:11Slowly bring your attention to those areas of tightness and relax them piece by piece.

2:31Feel the weight of your body in the chair.

2:43As your body begins to relax, allow your mind to let go.

2:55Give yourself permission to start fresh.

3:07What is done is done.

3:11All you have is this moment.

3:23This is a safe place.

3:27Release your thoughts to God.

3:43When it feels comfortable, take a few nice deep breaths.

3:55Inhale, feel the chest rise, and exhale, feel the chest fall.

4:13There's no way to do this wrong.

4:21If the thoughts take you away, that's okay.

4:27When it feels comfortable, bring your awareness back to the feeling of the breath.

4:51With a gentle ease, let's go ahead and take a nice deep breath.

5:08Notice how good it feels just to breathe.

5:21Allow your inhales to fill the body up.

5:33And then totally relax the body on the exhale.

5:49Notice how your breath changes the way your body feels.

6:06And on your next inhale, begin to count the breath.

6:13One on the inhale and two on the exhale.

6:21Three on the next inhale and four on the next exhale, counting up to 10, and then starting over again.

6:39If you lose track of the breath, it's okay.

6:44Just start over again, counting from one.

7:16There is nowhere to go, nowhere to be.

7:23We are just here, counting the breath.

7:38On the next exhale, allow the breath to relax and become natural.

7:57And now for a moment or two, let your mind relax.

8:17Take this verse with you.

8:21Our physical body is becoming older and weaker, but our spirit inside us is made new every day.

8:46When it feels natural, bring your awareness back to the room.

8:53Just noticing the room with a gentle appreciation.

9:00And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly open.

9:06Take a moment to notice how you feel.

9:10I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:13We'll see you again tomorrow for another day of hope.
