0:01Gratitude allows us to see things differently.

0:07Gratitude transforms whatever we're given to enough.

0:13It changes the equation by changing us.

0:18As you meditate today, let God fill your heart with gratitude so that you can see what you could not before.

0:28Okay, let's get started by allowing the body to relax.

0:36And when you're ready, let your eyes close like the sun sets.

0:47Take a moment to consider this verse: "I am leaving you with a gift: peace of mind and heart.

1:00And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give." Again: "I am leaving you with a gift: peace of mind and heart.

1:21And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give." Gradually, and with ease, bring your awareness to rest on your breath.

1:55Feel the body rise with each inhale, and then allow your awareness to rest in a little more with each exhale.

2:19Notice how with each breath, the body feels a little calmer.

2:37Begin to notice the space around the body.

2:47Feel the contact of the body on the chair, and your feet on the floor.

3:01When you feel comfortable, begin to scan the entire body to build up a picture of what the body feels like.

3:15Piece by piece, release any areas of tension.

3:25Let go of your stress.

3:28Let go of your anxiety.

3:34You are exactly where you're meant to be.

3:47Allow that natural rhythm of the breath to relax you.

4:04Let your breath guide you to a place of safety in the presence of God.

4:23You are accepted here.

4:27You are loved.

4:41With ease, bring your attention to the breath.

4:54Take a few nice, deep breaths.

5:03Make them feel easy and effortless.

5:20Feel life enter your body as you breathe in, and then release your tension as you breathe out.

5:46Inhale.

5:48Feel how the body expands.

5:53Then slowly exhale, feeling the body fall.

6:14Feel the air as it travels in through the nose, and follow the air back out through the mouth.

6:34Allow each breath to soften the chest and relax the shoulders.

6:52Begin to scan the body from the head to the toe, relaxing the body piece by piece.

7:17There's no way to do this wrong.

7:31And now, for a few moments, allow your mind to do what it wants to do.

7:45If it wants to think, then let it think.

7:51And if it wants to rest, then let it rest.

8:11Take this verse with you, "I am leaving you with a gift, peace of mind and heart.

8:21And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give." When you feel ready, slowly bring your awareness back to the breath and allow your eyes to open.

8:53Take a few deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

9:03Notice how you feel.

9:08I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:12We'll see you again tomorrow with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
