0:00Creating new habits requires persistence.

0:04It's a daily choice.

0:07You can live in peace by re-centering yourself with the presence of Jesus.

0:14By meditating today, you're choosing to live in peace and allowing Jesus to bring calm to your spirit.

0:25Okay.

0:27Let's begin by getting comfortable, taking a few nice, big, deep breaths.

0:40And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close.

0:50Now, take a moment to consider this verse.

0:56"Stay joined to me and let my teachings become part of you." And again, "Stay joined to me and let my teachings become part of you." When it feels comfortable,

1:37go ahead and take a few deep breaths in.

1:45Nice and easy.

1:53Let the breath settle and become natural, and bring your attention to the space in the room.

2:07Not thinking too hard about it, just becoming aware of your body and your surroundings.

2:25Notice the air on the skin.

2:34Feel the chair beneath you.

2:43Pay attention to the position of your body.

2:48Make sure that you're comfortable.

3:01Notice the state of your mind.

3:07Does the mind feel calm?

3:11Does it feel restless?

3:14Both are okay.

3:22Just a simple, easy noticing.

3:35Just noticing the space, almost like you're an observer.

3:50Notice the gentle sound of your breath coming in and going out.

4:03Deepening the inhales and extending the exhales, letting the body rest.

4:24Just relax.

4:41Now, gently bring your awareness to the breath.

4:49Allow your breath to deepen and fill the lungs.

5:04Big, deep breath in, and then taking twice as long on the exhale.

5:22Let the inhale come easily and effortlessly, and then exhale, controlling the breath.

5:47Allow yourself to be here in this moment.

5:55This is all that matters right now.

6:01Whatever you need to let go of, let it go.

6:09Release it to God.

6:20Today is a new day, with new opportunities.

6:38Allow your breath to renew your spirit and connect you to your creator, who loves you.

6:57Deep breath, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

7:13Remember, this is a place of love.

7:20Let this practice be whatever you need it to be.

7:25God's calming presence is always accessible to you.

7:43Let your awareness rest in the loving presence of God.

8:03Take this verse with you.

8:08Stay joined to me, and let my teachings become part of you.

8:26Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the body, maybe even move your fingers and toes a little bit.

8:38When it feels natural, allow your eyes to slowly open.

8:45Take another big deep breath in, and let it out with a sigh.

8:52Notice how you feel.

8:55I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

8:58We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
