0:00There's a saying in meditation that the present moment contains all of your past and all of your future.

0:10In a weird way, it's true.

0:14When you dwell on what happened, or what could happen, you're missing what is happening now.

0:24Let go of those things that aren't in your control.

0:29Release them to Jesus.

0:35God's love can only be felt in the present.

0:41Your life is happening now, just waiting for you to experience it.

0:51Let's begin by loosening the shoulders and the chest.

1:00And when you feel ready, just allow the eyes to slowly close.

1:11Take a moment to consider this verse.

1:18Jesus said to his disciples, "Don't be worried.

1:23Have faith in God, and have faith in me." And again, Jesus said to his disciples, "Don't be worried.

1:41Have faith in God, and have faith in me." In your own time, take a few nice deep breaths.

2:09In through the nose and out through the mouth.

2:20Allow the body to let go a little bit more with each exhale.

2:34Feel the face and the neck softening as your body begins to relax.

2:49Notice how your breath softens and relaxes the body.

3:04Come to that sense of weight in the body, allowing the chair to hold the body up.

3:22Relax the arms all the way down to the hands.

3:30Allow the legs to become heavy, relaxing all the way down to the toes.

3:46Feel the muscles softening.

3:58Allow the natural rhythm of the breath to relax the body.

4:10Notice the rise and the fall of the chest.

4:23Just noticing how good it feels just to breathe.

4:41And now, for a moment or two, let your awareness be free.

4:50Let it rest.

5:06As you relax, allow God's presence of peace to wash over you.

5:28Let your breath fill your body and relax your muscles.

5:46As your breath relaxes your body, bring your attention to the heartbeat.

6:06Just noticing the quiet rhythm of your heartbeat.

6:20Allow that rhythm and stillness to calm your mind, to relax your body.

6:42Let go of any feelings of stress or worry.

7:00God is taking care of you.

7:16Allow those feelings to go.

7:24You are safe here.

7:40And if thoughts take you away, that's okay.

7:46Be easy with the thoughts.

7:50Just remember, you can always come back to the breath and the heartbeat.

8:10Let yourself relax and allow God to speak to your heart.

8:30Take this verse with you.

8:34Jesus said to his disciples, "Don't be worried.

8:40Have faith in God and have faith in me." Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the body, maybe even move your fingers and toes a little bit.

9:10When it feels natural, allow your eyes to slowly open.

9:17Take another big, deep breath in and let it out with a sigh.

9:24Notice how you feel.

9:27I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:30We'll see you again tomorrow with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
