0:00Meditation is one of those things that is simple, but it requires trust in the process.

0:08Give yourself time to grow and change, and above all else, be easy with yourself.

0:16Wherever you are in the process, allow yourself to enjoy the practice as it is in this moment.

0:25So relax, and enjoy the journey.

0:30The more you meditate, the better it gets.

0:35Okay.

0:36Let's get started by allowing the body to relax.

0:43And when you're ready, let your eyes close like the sun sets.

0:54Take a moment to consider this verse: "May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight." And again, "May the words of

1:21my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight." When it feels natural, begin to consciously relax the body.

1:57Release the tension in your hands.

2:07Let the shoulders relax and fall away from the ears.

2:20Allow the neck to relax and let go.

2:34Take a big, deep breath in.

2:41Release your stress.

2:45Let go of your frustrations.

2:54If your mind is full of thoughts, it's okay.

3:05When it feels natural, just come back to the feeling of the breath.

3:21We aren't holding onto the thoughts.

3:25We're just noticing them and letting them go.

3:39Bring your awareness to the way your body feels.

3:49Notice how your breath relaxes the body.

3:58Allow that natural rhythm of your breath to calm your body.

4:08Not trying to change anything, just accepting the body the way it is.

4:25Allow yourself to relax in the loving presence of God.

4:51Now bring your attention to the position of the body.

4:59Make sure you can breathe in an open and natural way.

5:20Allow the chest to open and take a few nice, deep breaths.

5:35Let the breath fill the body up with life.

5:51With each breath, you're bringing your awareness into this moment.

6:11Relax, and allow God to speak to you in the way that He wants.

6:33Let your thoughts go, and allow your awareness to rest in this moment.

6:49If your thoughts wander off, that's okay.

6:55It's natural for the thoughts to drift.

7:07As best you can, leave those thoughts right where they are, and come back to that feeling of your body.

7:26Our feelings and emotions can distract us from the natural calm of God's love.

7:37There isn't anything to discover.

7:43It's always been there.

7:53This is a safe place.

7:57God loves you.

8:14Take this verse with you, "May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight." Softly, begin to bring your awareness back to

8:45the body, back to that feeling of weight in the body.

8:51And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take a big deep breath in.

9:00Take a moment to check in and notice how you feel.

9:06I hope you feel a little more present.

9:11We'll see you again tomorrow for another day of hope.

9:16Take care.
