0:01Moments of peace can be elusive.

0:05It can feel like there's so much to do, like there isn't time to be peaceful.

0:13Peace is something that is always there.

0:17It's something that we uncover.

0:21Peace allows us to let go of anger and resentment.

0:28It allows us to accept people's faults and to love them.

0:34Peace is a way of seeing the world.

0:38Today as you meditate, allow God to release any negative emotions or thoughts, so you can bring more peace into your life.

0:52When you feel ready, go ahead and get comfortable in your position, really allowing the body to relax.

1:07And when you're ready, let your eyes slowly close.

1:17Take a moment to consider this verse.

1:24Jesus said to his disciples, "Don't be worried.

1:29Have faith in God and have faith in me." And again, Jesus said to his disciples, "Don't be worried.

1:47Have faith in God and have faith in me." Now bring your attention to the way it feels when you breathe.

2:24Feel the stomach and the chest rise with each inhale.

2:34And feel the body relax with each exhale.

2:53In through the nose, feel the body expand, and then slowly exhale.

3:19Let the breath be natural.

3:24Let the breath naturally relax the body.

3:42Allow the face and the neck to soften.

3:58Allow the forehead to relax and the shoulders to fall away from the ears.

4:16Relax the body and allow the chair to hold the body up.

4:33Just relaxing and letting the body unwind.

4:49Simply let go.

5:09Now bring your awareness to the feeling of the body.

5:26Maybe there's some muscle tightness or stress lingering in the body.

5:47Slowly bring your attention to those areas of tightness and relax them piece by piece.

6:12Feel the weight of your body in the chair.

6:28As your body begins to relax, allow your mind to let go.

6:40Give yourself permission to start fresh.

6:58What is done is done.

7:02All you have is this moment.

7:18This is a safe place.

7:22Release your thoughts to God.

7:38When it feels comfortable, take a few nice, deep breaths.

8:00There's no way to do this wrong.

8:08If the thoughts take you away, that's okay.

8:14When it feels comfortable, bring your awareness back to the feeling of the breath.

8:36Take this verse with you.

8:41Jesus said to his disciples, "Don't be worried.

8:46Have faith in God and have faith in me." Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of the body.

9:11Notice the weight of the body on the chair, and when you feel ready, allow your eyes to open and take a nice, deep breath.

9:25Notice how your breath changes the way you feel.

9:30I hope you feel a little more in touch with God.

9:36We'll see you again next time with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
