0:00So much of our existence is focused on satisfying the self.

0:07But the truth is, the part of us is never really satisfied.

0:13It's always trying to occupy more.

0:18When we chase the self, we'll always be left short and wanting more.

0:26But when you relax and accept things as they are, God can move in your life.

0:34It's almost as if letting go allows God to give you what you could've never received on your own.

0:44Let go.

0:46Allow God to do for you what you can't do for yourself.

0:55Let's begin by noticing the weight of the body, allowing the body to relax into the chair.

1:12And as the body begins to relax, allow your eyes to close.

1:23Take a moment to consider this verse: "This is my commandment, love each other in the same way I have loved you." And again, "This is my commandment, love each

1:51other in the same way I have loved you." Bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.

2:24Not engaging with your feelings, just noticing them.

2:38Almost like you're observing your emotions, and then letting them go.

2:50Just like loosening your grip, you're letting go of those feelings.

3:09Let God handle whatever is out of your control.

3:22This is a place of acceptance and safety.

3:30You can always find rest in God.

3:42Now, begin to notice how your body feels.

3:52When it feels comfortable, begin to consciously relax the body.

4:06Scanning down from your head to your toes, release any areas of tension in the body.

4:26Surrender all of your stress and all of your responsibilities, and just let your mind rest.

4:51You are safe.

4:54God is looking out for you.

5:14Now, gently bring your awareness to the breath.

5:22Allow your breath to deepen and fill the lungs.

5:40Big, deep breath in, and then taking twice as long on the exhale.

6:00Let the inhale come easily and effortlessly.

6:08And then exhale, controlling the breath.

6:22Allow yourself to be here in this moment.

6:31This is all that matters right now.

6:39Whenever you need to let go of, let it go.

6:46Release it to God.

6:58Today is a new day, with new opportunities.

7:12Allow your breath to renew your spirit and connect you to your Creator, who loves you.

7:30Deep breath, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

7:48Remember, this is a place of love.

7:54Let this practice be whatever you need it to be.

8:00God's calming presence is always accessible to you.

8:20Let your awareness rest in the loving presence of God.

8:40Take this verse with you: "This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you." When it feels easy, bring your attention back to the

9:12feeling of the breath.

9:15Take a few more deep breaths and slowly allow your eyes to open.

9:24Notice how the breath changes the way you feel.

9:28I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:32We'll see you again tomorrow.

9:35Take care of yourself.
