0:00When you learn to live in the present, you're accepting that the past can't be changed.

0:07You're accepting that the future has yet to come.

0:11All you have is this moment, and it's all you'll ever have.

0:17Today, as you meditate, be mindful that Jesus is with you and He's actively working in your life.

0:29Okay.

0:31Let's begin by getting comfortable and taking a few nice, deep breaths.

0:41As you begin to feel your body releasing, allow your eyes to slowly close.

0:53Take a moment to consider this verse, "I am the vine and you are the branches.

1:03If you stay joined to me and I to you, you will produce plenty of fruit." And again, "I am the vine and you are the branches.

1:25If you stay joined to me and I to you, you will produce plenty of fruit." Keeping your eyes closed, bring your awareness to the space around the room.

2:04Just noticing the sounds in the room, and the sensations on the body.

2:16Welcome these sensations as part of the practice.

2:32When it feels comfortable, take some nice, deep breaths.

2:48Real easy, deep breaths.

3:04Now begin to slow down the inhale.

3:10Long, slow, deep inhalation, and then let the breath out, and relax.

3:24Again, take another long, slow, deep breath in, filling up the body, and then let the exhale come naturally.

3:44With each breath, let your mind relax.

3:58Allow your feelings to release and become a prayer to God.

4:17Now, for a few moments, let go of the focused attention and let your awareness rest.

4:30You are loved.

4:50And now, bring your attention to the heartbeat.

5:03Allow its rhythm to relax the body.

5:16As you begin to relax, bring your attention to the weight of the body.

5:39Allow the arms and the legs to become heavy.

5:52Allow the face to soften all the way down through the neck.

6:04Soften the skin.

6:12Allow the corners of the eyes to relax.

6:21Let the shoulders fall away from the ears.

6:31Release the elbows.

6:41Let the wrists and the hands relax.

6:52Soften the chest and the stomach.

7:03Release the hips and the thighs.

7:15Relax the calves, all the way down to the ankles.

7:31Allow the entire body to let go and totally relax.

7:54There is nowhere to go; you are exactly where you're supposed to be.

8:16Take this verse with you: "I am the vine, and you are the branches.

8:25If you stay joined to me, and I to you, you will produce plenty of fruit." Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of your breath.

8:51Listen to the sound of your breathing.

8:55And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take another deep breath in.

9:05Give yourself a stretch and sit back and relax.

9:10Remember to take a moment to check in, and notice how you feel.

9:17I hope you feel better.

9:20Take care, and we'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
