0:00If you come from a past where you've been hurt or wounded, know that tomorrow will bring a better day.

0:09Jesus tells us that He can heal our wounds.

0:15He can bring back the smile you lost.

0:19Let the love of Jesus fill your heart and restore your soul.

0:26Allow that message to rest with you as you work your way through this meditation.

0:35Let's begin by allowing the body to become heavy.

0:44And as you begin to relax, allow your eyes to close.

0:55Now, take a moment to consider this verse: "He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy." Again, "He will once again fill

1:20your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy." Now, let's take some nice, deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

2:02Just noticing and observing the breath, watching the rise and the fall of the chest.

2:22Listen to the gentle sound of your breathing.

2:34Begin to notice any feelings you may have brought with you today.

2:48Thoughts are a natural part of meditation.

2:56Just leave those feelings right where they are and then gently come back to the feeling of the breath.

3:16Long, deep inhale, then a slow, controlled exhale.

3:32Allow the breath to calm the mind and relax the body.

3:50And now, allow your awareness to fall and move inward, finding that place where you feel loved.

4:10Feel that natural peace in God's presence.

4:22Remember, when you come near to God, He will come near to you.

4:51Notice how good it feels just to breathe.

5:07Allow your inhales to fill the body up, and then totally relax the body on the exhale.

5:37Notice how your breath changes the way your body feels.

5:55And on your next inhale, begin to count the breaths.

6:02One on the inhale, and two on the exhale.

6:10Three on the next inhale, and four on the next exhale, counting up to 10, and then starting over again.

6:45If you lose track of the breath, it's okay.

6:50Just start over again, counting from one.

7:08There is nowhere to go, nowhere to be.

7:16We are just here, counting the breath.

7:30On the next exhale, allow the breath to relax and become natural.

7:52And now, for a moment or two, let your mind relax.

8:12Take this verse with you.

8:16"He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy." When it feels easy, bring your attention back to the feeling of the breath.

8:46Take a few more deep breaths and slowly allow your eyes to open.

8:55Notice how the breath changes the way you feel.

9:00I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:03We'll see you again tomorrow.

9:06Take care of yourself.
