0:01One of the greatest joys in life is being truly seen by someone, whether it's a spouse, a friend, or a family member.

0:11There's something special when someone has seen all of your dark parts and they love you anyway.

0:18They see you fully, and they love you.

0:23It's a rare thing.

0:25We forget that this is the way God looks at us all of the time.

0:31His love invites you to come as you are.

0:37Okay.

0:38Let's go ahead and get started by getting comfortable in your chair.

0:45And when you're ready, take a few nice, deep breaths, and allow your eyes to slowly close.

1:01Now, take a moment to consider this verse, Lord, you know everything there is to know about me.

1:19And again, Lord, you know everything there is to know about me.

1:42Now, bring your attention to the position of the body.

1:51Make sure you can breathe in an open and natural way.

2:04Allow the chest to open and take a few nice, deep breaths.

2:16Let the breath fill the body up with life.

2:30With each breath, you're bringing your awareness into this moment.

2:44Relax and allow God to speak to you in the way that He wants.

3:00Let your thoughts go, and allow your awareness to rest in this moment.

3:20If your thoughts wander off, that's okay.

3:26It's natural for the thoughts to drift.

3:40As best you can, leave those thoughts right where they are, and come back to that feeling of your body.

4:00Our feelings and emotions can distract us from the natural calm of God's love.

4:12There isn't anything to discover.

4:17It's always been there.

4:26This is a safe place.

4:29God loves you.

4:47Gradually and with ease, bring your awareness to rest on your breath.

5:03Feel the body rise with each inhale.

5:20Notice how with each breath, the body feels a little calmer.

5:45Begin to notice the space around the body.

6:01Feel the contact of the body on the chair, and your feet on the floor.

6:22When you feel comfortable, begin to scan the entire body to build up a picture of what the body feels like.

6:39Piece by piece, release any areas of tension.

6:50Let go of your stress, let go of your anxiety.

7:03You are exactly where you're meant to be.

7:16Allow that natural rhythm of the breath to relax you.

7:33Let your breath guide you to a place of safety in the presence of God.

7:52You are accepted here.

7:56You are loved.

8:12Take this verse with you, Lord, you know everything there is to know about me.

8:34Gently bring your awareness back to the body, and when you feel ready, slowly open your eyes and take a nice deep breath.

8:50Sit back and relax for a moment.

8:54How do you feel?

8:58I hope you feel a little better.

9:01We'll see you next time with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
