0:01Becoming comfortable with solitude is a life-changing experience.

0:07Not only does it allow God's voice to be heard more clearly, it gives you the space to learn about yourself.

0:16It gives you time to digest your emotions and realize what you really want out of life.

0:24The more you let go and rest, the deeper you will be able to experience God's love in your life.

0:34Okay.

0:36Let's begin by getting comfortable and taking a few nice, deep breaths.

0:46As you begin to feel your body releasing, allow your eyes to slowly close.

0:58Take a moment to consider this verse: "Be silent and stop your striving, and you will see that I am God." And again, "Be silent and stop your striving, and

1:23you will see that I am God." Now, bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.

1:54Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them with an easy curiosity.

2:18Now, take a few deep breaths and allow the body to relax a little more with each exhale.

2:39With each passing thought, allow your awareness to rest deeper into God's love.

2:59Now, begin to deepen the breath.

3:10Inhale slowly and lengthen the breath, and then exhale, letting go of the breath.

3:28And then right back into the next inhale.

3:36Slow it down, and make it deep.

3:46And then exhale.

3:49Let the body relax.

4:06Now, allow your breath to settle, and let your mind settle with it.

4:24Give yourself space just to be who you are, a child of God.

4:48Now, take a moment to be grateful for this opportunity to relax.

5:05Notice how good it feels just to be here in this moment.

5:20Let go of your worries and focus your attention on the breath.

5:43Nothing else matters right now.

5:49You are here.

5:52There's nothing to do but relax.

6:11Allow your body to honor the natural calm given by God's presence.

6:27Just listening to the breath, noticing the rise and the fall of the chest.

6:44Deep breath in, expanding the body, and then exhale, letting your awareness rest.

7:07Take another deep breath as you feel your lungs expand.

7:17And exhale, following the air back out through the mouth.

7:30The thoughts may take you away, and that's okay.

7:49With each breath, effortlessly rest into the arms of God.

8:12Take this verse with you, "Be silent and stop your striving, and you will see that I am God." Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of your breath.

8:43Listen to the sound of your breathing.

8:47And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take another deep breath in.

8:57Give yourself a stretch and sit back and relax.

9:02Remember to take a moment to check in and notice how you feel.

9:10I hope you feel better.

9:12Take care, and we'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
