0:00Habits and routine are tools we use to direct our life.

0:05We experience the presence of God when we make a regular habit of communing with God.

0:13As you meditate today, know that you are taking steps every day to invite the presence of God into your life.

0:24Let's start by taking a few nice, deep breaths.

0:34As your breath begins to relax your body, allow your eyes to close, like the sun sets.

0:47Now take a moment to consider this verse: "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ." And again, "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through

1:15the word of Christ." Now, bring your awareness to the space around the body.

1:44Not really examining it, just noticing the space with an easy curiosity.

2:04Notice any sensations on the skin.

2:12Feel the clothes on the skin.

2:22Feel the temperature of the room.

2:31Listen to the sounds in the room.

2:40Just a nice, easy focus on the sounds in the room.

3:01Listen to the gentle sound of your breathing.

3:09Notice the rise and the fall of the chest.

3:26Maybe the breath is shallow, or maybe it's deep.

3:32Both are okay.

3:36Just follow the breath as it moves through your body.

3:52Let the rhythm of your breath relax your mind.

4:11This is a safe place.

4:15God is watching over you.

4:32Now, bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.

4:48Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them with an easy curiosity.

5:18Now take a few deep breaths and allow the body to relax a little more with each exhale.

5:46With each passing thought, allow your awareness to rest deeper into God's love.

6:05Now, begin to deepen the breath.

6:24Inhale slowly and lengthen the breath, and then exhale, letting go of the breath.

6:44And then right back into the next inhale.

6:52Slow it down and make it deep.

7:05And then exhale.

7:07Let the body relax.

7:22Now, allow your breath to settle and let your mind settle with it.

7:41Give yourself space just to be who you are, a child of God.

8:02Take this verse with you: "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ." When it feels easy, bring your attention back to the feeling of the

8:33breath.

8:35Take a few more deep breaths and slowly allow your eyes to open.

8:43Notice how the breath changes the way you feel.

8:48I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

8:52We'll see you again tomorrow.

8:55Take care of yourself.
