0:01Giving thanks is a great way to start every day.
0:07It automatically makes you happier, and makes you more aware of all of the blessings that God has given you.
0:15It changes you and makes you better.
0:20It brings you closer to becoming who God designed you to be.
0:27Okay.
0:29Let's begin by getting comfortable.
0:34Take a few nice, big, deep breaths.
0:42And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close.
0:52Take a moment to consider this verse: Give, and you will receive.
1:02Your gift will return to you in full.
1:14And again, give, and you will receive.
1:21Your gift will return to you in full.
1:40Now, bring your attention to the way it feels when you breathe.
1:57Feel the stomach and the chest rise with each inhale.
2:07And feel the body relax with each exhale.
2:26In through the nose.
2:30Feel the body expand, and then slowly exhale.
2:52Let the breath be natural.
2:57Let the breath naturally relax the body.
3:15Allow the face and the neck to soften.
3:31Allow the forehead to relax and the shoulders to fall away from the ears.
3:49Relax the body and allow the chair to hold the body up.
4:06Just relaxing, and letting the body unwind.
4:22Simply let go.
4:40Now, take a moment to be grateful for this opportunity to relax.
5:00Notice how good it feels just to be here in this moment.
5:16When it feels natural, begin to deepen the breath.
5:30Let go of your worries and focus your attention on the breath.
5:44Nothing else matters right now.
5:50You are here.
5:53There's nothing to do but relax.
6:07Allow your body to honor the natural calm given by God's presence.
6:23Just listening to the breath, noticing the rise and the fall of the chest.
6:38Deep breath in, expanding the body, and then exhale, letting your awareness rest.
7:03Take another deep breath as you feel your lungs expand.
7:13And exhale, following the air back out through the mouth.
7:28The thoughts may take you away, and that's okay.
7:46With each breath, effortlessly rest into the arms of God.
8:09Take this verse with you, "Give, and you will receive.
8:18Your gift will return to you in full." Slowly bring your awareness back to the body, and when you feel ready, allow your eyes to open.
8:47Take a moment to notice how your body feels.
8:53I hope you feel a little better.
8:57We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
9:04Remember, be easy with yourself.
