0:01Like a good parent, you may not love what your child does, but you will always love who they are and what they can become.

0:12As Jesus told us, God is our Father, and He loves us dearly.

0:19He forgives you and keeps no record of wrongdoing.

0:23He knows everything about you and loves you completely.

0:28He has plans for your life and sees all the good that is within you.

0:37Okay.

0:39Let's begin by getting comfortable and taking a few deep breaths.

0:49As you begin to feel your body releasing, allow your eyes to slowly close.

1:02Now, take a moment to consider this verse, "Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His

1:18eyes." And again, "Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes." Now, bring your awareness

2:01to the feelings you brought with you today.

2:14Just taking note of your emotions and accepting them as they are.

2:31Begin to take a few nice big breaths.

2:46With each exhale, you're relaxing and letting those feelings go.

3:02Stressful situations are a part of life, but you are stronger than those feelings.

3:28Just relaxing and appreciating the breath.

3:40On your next inhale, begin to count the breath.

3:46One on the inhale and two on the exhale.

3:53Three on the next inhale and four on the exhale.

4:01Counting up to 10 and then starting over again.

4:28Allow your breath to bring life into your body.

4:41Let your breath remind you of God's calming presence in your life.

5:02Now, slowly begin to take some deep breaths, allowing the body to open.

5:20Let the breath relax any areas of tightness in the body.

5:36Consciously, start to turn the muscles off.

5:44Start with the muscles in the feet and the legs.

5:52Allow the feet to be heavy on the floor.

6:00Allow the chest and the back to open so the breathing can become deep and natural.

6:21Soften the shoulders.

6:25Allow them to fall away from the ears.

6:39Let the head fall and become heavy at the neck.

6:51Feel the weight of the body, and how it pushes you down into the chair.

7:09When it feels comfortable, bring your awareness to the sound of your breath.

7:19Not changing anything about the breath, just noticing it.

7:37Listening to the gentle rhythm of the inhales and exhales.

7:55Filling the body up with fresh air, and then slowly exhaling and letting go.

8:11Let your mind be still.

8:28Take this verse with you: Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.

8:57Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of your breath.

9:04Listen to the sound of your breathing.

9:08And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take another deep breath in.

9:18Give yourself a stretch and sit back and relax.

9:23Remember to take a moment to check in, and notice how you feel.

9:30I hope you feel better.

9:33Take care.

9:35And we'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
