0:00Some of the most profound truths in life are the things that are so commonplace to us that we forget their importance.

0:10I think being kind to one another is one of those things.

0:15We forget that everyone on Earth is a person that Jesus deeply loves.

0:22I hope that as you rest with this meditation, you can become aware of the kindness and love Jesus shares with you, so you can go out and share it

0:34with others.

0:37Okay.

0:39Let's begin by consciously relaxing the body.

0:46And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close.

0:56As your body begins to settle, take a moment to consider this verse: Love is gentle and consistently kind to all.

1:10It refuses to be jealous when blessing comes to someone else.

1:24And again, love is gentle and consistently kind to all.

1:32It refuses to be jealous when blessing comes to someone else.

1:52Gently bring your awareness to any sensations you're feeling, just noticing the sensations on the body.

2:12Maybe it's the air on the skin or the weight of the body in the chair, just noticing and welcoming these sensations as part of the meditation.

2:41Notice the rise and the fall of the chest as you breathe.

2:57Follow the breath and notice how it changes your body, the inhales expanding the body and filling it up with life, and the exhales relaxing the body, letting go.

3:34Follow the breath as it comes in through the nose and then goes back out through the mouth.

3:52You don't have to do anything.

3:56It's natural and effortless.

4:00Your body knows how to relax.

4:06You are simply unearthing the calm that was already there.

4:19This is a safe place of love and deep rest.

4:33Allow your mind to take refuge in God.

4:56When it feels comfortable, go ahead and take a few deep breaths in, nice and easy.

5:20Let the breath settle and become natural, and bring your attention to the space in the room, not thinking too hard about it, just becoming aware of your body and

5:42your surroundings.

5:54Feel the chair beneath you.

5:59Pay attention to the position of your body.

6:04Make sure that you're comfortable.

6:19Notice the state of your mind.

6:25Does the mind feel calm?

6:28Does it feel restless?

6:32Both are okay.

6:45Just a simple, easy noticing.

7:01Just noticing the space, almost like you're an observer.

7:21Notice the gentle sound of your breath, coming in and going out, deepening the inhales, and extending the exhales, letting the body rest.

8:06Just relax.

8:21Take this verse with you.

8:25Love is gentle and consistently kind to all.

8:31It refuses to be jealous when blessing comes to someone else.

8:49When you feel ready, slowly bring your awareness back to the breath and allow your eyes to open.

9:01Take a few deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

9:11Notice how you feel.

9:16I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:20We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
