0:00When something old falls apart, something new begins.

0:05This is one of those truisms in life that's easy to say, but hard to accept, especially when you're going through traumatic life changes.

0:18Life will change.

0:21Change is the constant of life.

0:24It's the way that God designed life to be.

0:28So rest assured that God's hand is at work in your life.

0:32He's constantly with you, guiding you through these life changes.

0:39Don't be afraid.

0:41Rest with God.

0:46Let's begin by loosening the shoulders and the chest.

0:54And when you feel ready, just allow the eyes to slowly close.

1:05Take a moment to consider this verse: The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me.

1:22Again, the Lord will fulfill his purpose for me.

1:44With ease, bring your attention to the breath.

1:56Take a few nice, deep breaths.

2:04Make them feel easy and effortless.

2:22Feel life enter your body as you breathe in, and then release your tension as you breathe out.

2:47Inhale.

2:50Feel how the body expands.

2:54Then slowly exhale, feeling the body fall.

3:13Feel the air as it travels in through the nose, and follow the air back out through the mouth.

3:31Allow each breath to soften the chest and relax the shoulders.

3:41Begin to scan the body from the head to the toe, relaxing the body piece by piece.

3:58There's no way to do this wrong.

4:09And now, for a few moments, allow your mind to do what it wants to do.

4:21If it wants to think, then let it think.

4:27And if it wants to rest, then let it rest.

4:48Bring your attention to any tightness in the body.

4:58Just noticing how the body feels.

5:22Start by relaxing the hands, letting go of any tension in the hands.

5:46Allow the arms to totally relax, letting go at the elbows and the wrists.

6:06Let the shoulders fall away from the ears.

6:25Let the legs become heavy.

6:39Allow the muscles to completely let go.

6:55Let your body totally relax and release.

7:13And now, if it feels comfortable, take a big deep breath, letting the air fill up the body.

7:31Notice how the breath changes the way the body feels.

7:48And now, for a moment or two, let go of any focus, and just allow yourself to be.

8:14Take this verse with you: The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me.

8:34Slowly bring your awareness back to the body, and when you feel ready, allow your eyes to open.

8:48Take a moment to notice how your body feels.

8:54I hope you feel a little better.

8:58We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.

9:05Remember, be easy with yourself.
