0:00God is our protection.

0:02The more time you spend with God, the more resilient you become toward life's disappointments and hurts.

0:11This is how God protects you against the things that can upset you and rob you of your inner peace.

0:20This is God's protection against the things that can lead to harm, protection against yourself and your worst instincts and impulses.

0:32God is your salvation and your protection.

0:40Let's begin by allowing the body to become heavy.

0:49And as you begin to relax, allow your eyes to close.

0:59Now, take a moment to consider this verse: God is our protection and source of strength.

1:11He is always ready to help us in times of trouble.

1:23And again, God is our protection and source of strength.

1:29He is always ready to help us in times of trouble.

1:49Gently bring your awareness to any sensations you're feeling, just noticing the sensations on the body.

2:09Maybe it's the air on the skin, or the weight of the body in the chair.

2:23Just noticing and welcoming these sensations as part of the meditation.

2:38Notice the rise and the fall of the chest as you breathe.

2:54Follow the breath and notice how it changes your body, the inhales expanding the body and filling it up with life, and the exhales relaxing the body, letting go.

3:31Follow the breath as it comes in through the nose and then goes back out through the mouth.

3:49You don't have to do anything.

3:53It's natural and effortless.

3:57Your body knows how to relax.

4:03You are simply unearthing the calm that was already there.

4:16This is a safe place of love and deep rest.

4:30Allow your mind to take refuge in God.

4:53When it feels natural, let's take a nice big breath.

5:06With each breath, allow the body to become softer and more relaxed, almost like a wave of relaxation washing over the body.

5:37The breath fills up the body, and then it gives way to that natural relaxation that's right under the surface.

6:03Now, let's turn our awareness to how the body feels.

6:14Just examining the body with an easy curiosity.

6:30Allow your shoulders to relax and fall away from the ears.

6:39Relax your arms and allow your hands to open and let go.

6:50Allow your temples and face to relax.

7:00Let the throat and the neck soften.

7:08Allow your breath to deepen as your awareness rests deeper.

7:18Just relaxing and releasing.

7:31You are here and everything is okay.

7:37God is with you.

7:54And now, for a moment or two, let go of any focus and allow yourself to simply be.

8:18Take this verse with you: God is our protection and source of strength.

8:27He is always ready to help us in times of trouble.

8:43When it feels natural, bring your awareness back to the room.

8:51Just noticing the room with a gentle appreciation.

8:57And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly open.

9:04Take a moment to notice how you feel.

9:08I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:11We'll see you again tomorrow for another day of hope.
