0:00One way to bring more light into your life is to focus on the goodness of God.

0:08You can meditate on His love or His kindness or His forgiveness.

0:14When you turn your thoughts to the goodness of God, it brings more hope to your heart.

0:22No matter how bad the world gets, there is something that is always good, and that is God.

0:35Let's begin by loosening the shoulders and the chest.

0:43And when you feel ready, just allow the eyes to slowly close.

0:53Take a moment to consider this verse: "The Lord is my strength and my reason for singing.

1:04He saved me." And again, "The Lord is my strength and my reason for singing.

1:21He saved me." In your own time, take a few nice deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

1:59Allow the body to let go a little bit more with each exhale.

2:13Feel the face and the neck softening as your body begins to relax.

2:28Notice how your breath softens and relaxes the body.

2:43Come to that sense of weight in the body, allowing the chair to hold the body up.

3:01Relax the arms all the way down to the hands.

3:09Allow the legs to become heavy, relaxing all the way down to the toes.

3:25Feel the muscles softening.

3:37Allow the natural rhythm of the breath to relax the body.

3:49Notice the rise and the fall of the chest.

4:02Just noticing how good it feels just to breathe.

4:20And now, for a moment or two, let your awareness be free.

4:29Let it rest.

4:45As you relax, allow God's presence of peace to wash over you.

5:07Let your breath fill your body and relax your muscles.

5:25As your breath relaxes your body, bring your attention to the heartbeat.

5:45Just noticing the quiet rhythm of your heartbeat.

5:59Allow that rhythm and stillness to calm your mind.

6:08...to relax your body.

6:21Let go of any feelings of stress or worry.

6:39God is taking care of you.

6:55Allow those feelings to go.

7:03You are safe here.

7:19And if thoughts take you away, that's okay.

7:25Be easy with the thoughts.

7:29Just remember, you can always come back to the breath and the heartbeat.

7:49Let yourself relax, and allow God to speak to your heart.

8:09Take this verse with you: "The Lord is my strength and my reason for singing.

8:18He saved me." Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the body, maybe even move your fingers and toes a little bit.

8:46When it feels natural, allow your eyes to slowly open.

8:53Take another big, deep breath in, and let it out with a sigh.

9:00Notice how you feel.

9:02I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:05We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
