0:00Spending time with God in meditation opens our eyes to see things as they really are.

0:08It changes the way we view our life.

0:12We begin to see that who we really are is not determined by our achievements or our success.

0:20God brings us to realize that how we love defines who we are.

0:29Okay.

0:30Let's begin by getting comfortable, taking a few nice big, deep breaths.

0:43And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close.

0:53Now take a moment to consider this verse.

1:00"Three things will last forever: faith, hope, and love.

1:07And the greatest of these is love." And again, "Three things will last forever: faith, hope, and love.

1:27And the greatest of these is love." Now, bring your attention to your breath.

1:52Just a soft, easy awareness.

2:04Notice what it feels like as air passes in through the nose, and then back out through the mouth.

2:21Let the breath bring life to your body.

2:39Begin to listen to the sound of your breath.

2:47Listening to the inhale and the exhale.

3:05On the next exhale, allow the breath to relax and become natural.

3:25Allow your breath to bring renewal to your body.

3:33You're making space to notice God's presence in your life.

3:49When it feels comfortable, bring your attention to the heartbeat.

4:05Allow that rhythm and stillness to enter every part of your body.

4:23Feel the presence of God in this space.

4:29Let go of control and rest into the arms of God.

4:51When it feels comfortable, take a few nice deep breaths in, really making a point to expand the body and expand the chest.

5:27Notice how the breath makes you feel.

5:39Now let the breath begin to settle.

5:50As your breath begins to settle, allow the body to become heavy.

6:13Notice any sensations in the body.

6:19See if you're holding on to any tension.

6:27Maybe the body is tight or maybe it's not.

6:33Either is okay.

6:43You're just scanning the body, looking for any areas of tightness and letting them release.

6:59And if the mind drifts away in thought, slowly bring it back to the feelings in the body and the breath.

7:19Your body knows how to relax.

7:29You don't have to think about it for it to happen.

7:35You are simply uncovering the calm that was always present.

7:56Let your awareness rest in the arms of God.

8:15Take this verse with you.

8:20"Three things will last forever: faith, hope, and love.

8:27And the greatest of these is love." Slowly bring your awareness back to the body, and when you feel ready, allow your eyes to open.

8:58Take a moment to notice how your body feels.

9:04I hope you feel a little better.

9:08We'll see you again tomorrow with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.

9:14Remember, be easy with yourself.
